Within the MAT4BAT project VITO/EnergyVille wanted to understand and verify the ageing and decradation process in electrical batteries. We wanted to improve the battery lifetime considerably while maintaining optimal battery performance. The advancedMaterials used in electrical batteries should be economically viable and technologically feasible. We want to improve the European battery production capacities.
