Carlo Manna

Carlo Manna is researcher in theAlgorithm Modelling and Optimization (AMO) Lab at VITO  from 2019. He received his B.Eng/M.Engand a PhD in Applied Artificial Intelligence from University of Naples FedericoII (Italy). Before joining VITO, he was R&D engineer at ZF-Automotive AGfrom 2017 to 2019, in the Autonomous Driving Division in Dusseldorf(Germany). Before this, he was researcher at INSIGHT lab at University CollegeCork (Ireland) from 2011 to 2017. His research is focusedat developing models and artificialintelligence algorithms concerning the management and allocation ofresources for clean, secure and sustainable energy systems

He is co-authored of more than30  journals/peer-review proceedingpublications listed in Scopus and other conference papers and he is co-authoredof 5 German-patents.
