Aiming at strengthening the Flemish economy, also internationally, VITO and FCA have chosen to become a partner in EBTC to strengthen its leverage to do the groundwork for Flemish cleantech and Flemish cleantech industry in India.
EBTC (new window) is a European Commission initiative and the EC has accepted the candidacy of VITO.
EBTC compliments the existing activities in India by coordinating and strengthening policy efforts of the EU Member States, especially in the mandated sectors of biotechnology, energy, environment and transport in particular. EBTC is an entry point for Indian companies who want to get in touch with EU Member State Embassies and trade bodies, and EU Industry.
