Open call for industry:
Shape the booster initiative Circular Chemistry
Removing roadblocks for circular chemistry projects
The booster initiative Circular Chemistry
The Flemish government maintains the transition to a Circular Economy as a strategic priority and supports VITO in coordinating a booster initiative with industrial & societal stakeholders to speed up the implementation of concrete circular initiatives in identified strategic value chains. Through close involvement of the department WEWIS, VLAIO, Circular Flanders, OVAM and DKBUZA, the primary focus of the initiative is to enable scale-up of circular projects through a highly targeted 2 phase approach.
During the initial phase of the booster, this open call enables industry stakeholders to present the unique strengths and potential of their circular chemistry projects, as well as share relevant operational context and challenges faced in implementing circular innovations.
Input by industry stakeholders directly defines and shapes the use cases and central themes of the multi-stakeholder booster tables of the second phase.
These multi-stakeholder booster tables focus on systemic and cross-cutting themes and are conducted with representation of all the key societal actors (WEWIS, VLAIO, OVAM, essenscia, financing partners, ...) with the clear purpose to define practical actions to enable further commercialisation of the circular activities.
Why apply?
