With the PreciseInhale®, an aerosol can be generated in a controlled and highly accurate manner and then offered to in vitro human lung cells. This combination mimics the exposure of inhaled particles in the human body.
The PreciseInhale® can be used to investigate how aerosols and small particles after inhalation can affect our lungs and thus our health. The device can be used flexibly, because it is possible to make an efficient generation via dry powder, an atomised solution or commercial inhalers (DPI, MDI). Moreover, the added value of this device is that, due to the limited amount of product required, it can also be used in tests in which very expensive substances are often used.
