On Thursday, June 6th, the battery technology research team from VITO/EnergyVille organized a Symposium in collaboration with CN Rood on “Sustainable Battery Power, from measurement to second-life solutions” in Thor Park, Genk.
More than 100 participants from the whole battery value chain gathered to gain insights into the latest applicable technologies and safety standards driving innovation in the battery industry. They learnt about best practices for responsible battery handling, including strategies for managing batteries throughout their lifecycle and got more insights on the critical role of tests and measurements in ensuring the reliability and safety of battery systems.
