The Minewater management tool (MWMT) supports the drafting of mine abandonment plans and the development of new application for abandoned mines such as using minewater for heating and cooling purposes as well as for heat/cold storage. Additionally, the modelling tool is well suited to predict mine water discharge, including chemical composition including the dispersion of chemicals in flooded or flooding mines.

3D Geological modelling is a technique for creating 3D representations of the underground based on geological and geophysical observations and concepts. It is used for managing and quantifying natural resources, with applications such as groundwater, geothermal and coal exploration.
