New national and international volatile organic compounds (VOC) product (emissions) regulations push manufacturers to develop and to verify their products on releasing low amounts of dangerous (regulated) substances. Besides legislation, many voluntary labelling schemes exist worldwide (e.g. Blue Angel, Emicode, M1, Natureplus, Greenguard,…).
