As Team Leader of the Organic Analytical Team at VITO, I help industry partners turn complex analytical challenges into clear, actionable solutions. Together with the Inorganic Analytical Team, we form the backbone of VITO’s analytical expertise.
With a background as an analytical (bio)chemist and experience across pharmaceutical, chemical, food, and polymer industries, I understand how analytical questions arise from real industrial processes. My approach is simple: first understand your business and your challenges in depth, then translate them into robust, fit-for-purpose analytical strategies.
I specialise in advanced analytical technologies, with a strong focus on high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS), non-target analysis, and rapid screening techniques such as DART-MS. I continuously explore new technologies and develop innovative applications that deliver practical value to our clients.
In addition to leading a team of skilled researchers and analysts, I serve as a scientific expert and project coordinator in collaborative projects with industry, government, and European partners, ensuring that innovation is translated into real-world impact.
