6th District Heating Congress
District heating networks are gaining momentum across Flanders. Following five successful editions, ISVAG, VITO/EnergyVille, Warmtenetwerk Vlaanderen, VVSG Netwerk Klimaat, and the Province and POM Antwerp are pleased to invite you to the sixth edition of the District Heating Conference.
Discover the current state, key challenges, and future opportunities for district heating in Flanders. Participation is free, but registration is required. This is a Dutch speaking event.

Our speakers
At 1.30 PM, two experts from EnergyVille will contribute to the parallel sessions:
- Gert Moermans (VITO/EnergyVille) will speak in Break-out Session 1: Heat Sources and Temperatures, addressing the role of fourth and fifth generation district heating networks.
- Glenn Reynders (EnergyVille/KU Leuven) will present in Break-out Session 2: Heat and Electricity, focusing on system integration and the role of Power2Heat in local heating projects.
Technical site visits (Ghent 9 December)
On 9 December, youβre invited to explore several operational district heating sites in Ghent, offering a close-up view of real-world implementations in urban contexts.
