SOLMATE wants to develop and demonstrate viable low-cost decentralised energy systems leveraging batteries from End-of-Life (EoL) Electric Vehicles and used PV solar panels, and to showcase low-cost and environmentally friendly technologies for enhancing the purity and recovery of raw materials, with a special focus on Critical Raw Materials (CRMs).
