Carolin plays anactive role in several arenas promoting the transition to a sustainable builtenvironment. Over the years Carolin has built up a comprehensive knowledge inthe field of sustainable value chain management in the built environment, usingmethods like life cycle assessment (LCA), life cycle costing (LCC), productenvironmental footprint (PEF), multi-criteria assessments (MCA) and circularityassessments at different scale levels (building materials, building componentsand elements, buildings and districts). Carolin has been involved in theperformance of various research and consultancy projects in which widelydiffering product types have been analyzed with both government and industry astarget groups.
