Grants for water projects

Flanders is a water-scarce region. This presents challenges but also opportunities. There is a range of subsidies you can apply for as a company.

The first step is to find out which subsidy channel is right for your project. After all, each subsidy has its own rules.

VITO Kennispunt Water briefly explains the various support measures for water in this handy overview (Dutch only) aimed at companies.

Support is provided for:

    Such as free first-line advice, a water audit or a water scan
  2. Research & Development
    As with VLAIO or Horizon Europe
  3. Demonstration
    As with Vlaanderen Circulair or the Interreg programmes
  4. Investments
    As with VLAIO (general) or VLIF (for agri-food)
