Heating networks can act as the link between the demand for and supply of heat. Moreover, they can provide the infrastructure for various forms of sustainable heat.

In an energy system that mainly consists of intermittent sources of electricity (solar and wind), heating networks are crucial in order to provide the necessary flexibility for the global energy system by linking heating networks and electrical networks by means of heat pumps and ORC installations.

Our expertise

  • development, demonstration and implementation of intelligent control systems for heating networks and substations
  • low-temperature heating networks
  • reducing the return temperature in heating networks
  • integration and interaction of heating networks with other networks
  • technological innovations for cold networks
