Luciana Marques received her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil) in 2022. She also received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from the same university in 2011 and 2015. She joined VITO/EnergyVille in April 2021, as a researcher in the energy markets team and is currently involved in European and Belgian projects as OneNet, Alexander, and InduFlexControl 2. Her interests and research experience are related to energy markets, game theory, peer-to-peer models, energy management, TSO-DSO coordination, strategic behavior in energy markets, and optimization. Between 2019 and 2020, she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and performed research at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (CA, USA) in the context of her PhD thesis. She also has experience as a Business Consultant (2011 to 2014) and as a professor (2015 to 2019).
